This article from Kuvittaja magazine (3/2026, Finnish Illustrators Association’s magazine) shows little bit about my illustration process. This image I made for a still unpublished book some years ago. It starts from a super simple sketch on a paper, and develops step by step to a ready picture. This image I made on top of an old rusty oven tray with a bit of water, stones and some nature materials. Later I added the rain on computer.
